We are seeking a Personal Injury Litigation Paralegal with hands-on plaintiff-side experience to support a growing PI practice. This role is essential to case progression and client satisfaction and requires direct ownership of injury files from intake through settlement or trial.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage personal injury cases from intake through resolution
- Draft demand packages, discovery, pleadings, and settlement documentation
- Coordinate medical records, billing, liens, and expert materials
- Communicate regularly with clients regarding case status
- Assist with depositions, mediations, and trial preparation
- Track statute of limitations, litigation deadlines, and settlement timelines
- Support attorneys during hearings and trial as needed
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of personal injury paralegal experience
- Experience working plaintiff-side (auto, premises, catastrophic injury preferred)
- Strong understanding of medical records, damages, and lien resolution
- Ability to manage high caseloads independently
- Excellent client communication and organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Trial prep or verdict experience
- Familiarity with Georgia personal injury statutes and procedures
- Experience with case management software used in PI practices
